Weeksville Heritage Center is a must see. It is great educational experience.

Wonderful & Reverent experience. Weeksville is a sacred space that ALL should know and learn about. It is perfect for Brooklyn to begin its Juneteenth Commemoration & Celebration. I do wish there was more property/land remaining.

In the past, several organizations have had galas, musical presentations, fundraisers and educational events. And from the Heritage, many different events from poetry slam to concerts and writers workshop to their tours and wonderful art exhibits.
Admission is $8, definitely worth It!
Some events may have a charge however most of the events that i have attended have been for a donation.
Street parking and its challenging. Mass transit is a better option though only 1 train line serving area and a 0.7 mi walk or can uber from station
