It isn't often that one has to drive over two hours to buy a bicycle, but such was the case for me, as no shops within one hundred miles had any suitable inventory, currently, or for the foreseeable future. In expanding my internet search, I came upon Bicycle World in Mount Kisco, and expecting more disappointment, was actually surprised to see that they had, in stock, several high-quality brands in my size. I phoned the store to confirm that they, indeed, had the bikes in stock, and after a reassuring conversation with Ben, in which he took the time to explain the various options and why a particular model was best for me, we reserved the bike and scheduled a time for a fitting. I was greeted in the store by Ilene, one of the co-owners, who was extremely friendly and helpful. And even though I was thirty minutes early for my fitting, I wasn't made to wait. Eric, Ilene's husband and co-owner, conducted the fitting, and honestly, it was the best bike fit I've ever had. Eric is extremely knowledgeable, not only about bikes, but about biomechanics as well. I'm a kinesiologist, so I can appreciate it when someone has a true understanding of human motion. More importantly, Eric was very thorough, gave me time to provide my own input, took his time in fine-tuning the bike to me, and didn't rush me as I needed time to get the feel for the setup and ask relevant questions. In a time when internet purchases are in vogue, it's really refreshing to experience truly caring, personal and exceptional customer service, delivered by people who clearly love what they do. Driving over two hours to Bicycle World in Mount Kisco was well worth the effort, and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Thanks to Ilene and Eric for a great experience!

We've listed our protocol on Google. We limit in store capacity. We require masks and staff all wears masks. Sanitizer is available in multiple locations. We wipe down credit card readers and common surfaces often. We have dividers at the register. We offer curbside service.
If you use Strava or Map My Ride, there are many rides loaded in our area. You can look by mileage to determine the best choice. One of our favorites from the shop is Rt 100 to Rt 202 to Rt 116 into Ridgefield and back. It is beautiful and has great scenery. Thank you.
Hello. We do not stock bmx bikes but special order Stolen brand bmx bikes, which are very nice.
