Hmm.. Ive never seen any cooking at this or any similar county park. I wouldnt try it without checking with perhaps bergen county parks or maybe the sheriffs dept. Maybe call woodcliff lakes PD and ask? But the places ive seen that allow it usually have disposal for live coals and theres definately none of that here.

For fishing at this park, is it "catch and release" or can be taken away if the size and quantity meet the NJ fishing regulation?

Catch and release only. There is a sign at the far end of the park. Lot's of great fishing there. Sunnies, catfish crappies and Bass.

No sprinklers, but it is a good location to have a cookout.

No i dont think you can but call the Hillsdale Police station and ask you may be able to bring your own grill
