Nice peaceful place to take my grandson on a Monday morning. I wouldn't go swimming there after reading some of the reviews about dead fish but nice ten minute drive from my daughter's house.

Fishing is great ramp is perfect not too steep tons of parking. Nice park nearby.

Very nice park on Lay Lake. Good trail system through the woods for hikers. Easy access to the lake for boaters. Multiple piers and pavillions for groups and gatherings.

According to the website there is an camping area, but it is only accessable by canoe... The pavilion is first come first serve, I would think that the camping is too. You can camp at Lake Jordan or Lake Mitchell which is the closer of the two.
