Been waiting for hours with my 1st grader who hit her head badly and had a literal hole in the middle of her forehead. They called everyone who came in after us ahead of us and showed zero concern for my child. If I could give zero stars I would..

If you have a actual emergency, Don't come to this ER. Its ran more like a Clinic than an ER. Brought my Mom here for abdominal pains (5pm). We didn't leave until 7:30AM the next day. They don't have a good In and Out system. They where even letting people go ahead of those who where in "Serious" pain. My mom and about 3 other people where literally throwing up their guts in doggy bags in the lobby, while Sally,Billy, and Bob laughed, skipped and hopped to and from the rooms. A lot of people that came in around the same time as up just got up and left to go to another ER. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because the Staff/Nurses/Doctors were really kind.

Last night I went to this emergency room at about 12am, I read the reviews but could not make it anywhere further due to my condition. I was checked in and treated within the first 20 minutes of my visit. RN Gwendolyn, made my visit so comfortable! I had my 2 small children with me because I am a single Mother, she literally cared for them while the DR treated me. She grabbed them snacks, put kid shows on the computer and kept them occupied while I rested. She is truly an Angel in disguise, doing the Lords work. I will definitely be back for any other emergent situation.

Don't take people you care about here. in 2019, we took my mom here. She was so weak she was unable to walk. When we asked for a wheelchair, the nurse said she didn't need one since she'd obviously been able to get into the car (though we'd carried her to the car). She ended up dying in that hospital a few weeks into her ICU stay. So, I guess we weren't overreacting were we? Then a couple weeks ago, I sat in the E.R. with my elderly father for 13 hours before anyone even came to look at him. He was dehydrated from being ill. Weak and shaky he grew more and more confused (dehydration is very bad for the elderly) the longer we sat there. I had to beg for a glass of water. One. I was able to get him ONE the whole time. The vending machines were empty too. We got there at midnight, he wasn't even SEEN until 1:30pm the next day. They had written his chief complaint down incorrectly. They said he was there for "dizziness", not for extreme dehydration and diarrhea. So, the kept pushing back farther in the line, meanwhile he kept getting worse and worse. There was also no doctor on staff the entire night. I watched as a kid across from us threw up the entire night, 13 hours straight. No one came to help him. No one checked on him. This hospital needs an overhaul. I will not be going back or taking anyone I care about back there. Drive to Emory y'all. It's worth the trip.
