I was very eager to try this restaurant out and finally had the opportunity to drive out to that side of town this weekend. It has a nice atmosphere and the employees were very pleasant as well. The wait time is about thirty minutes, so order ahead of time. I ordered the Beef with fufu and okra sauce. The portion size was smaller than I imagined HOWEVER the food was very filling and tasteful. This was my first time trying West African food and I will definitely go back and try more. I don’t regret spending my money with this business.

I take nothing from the taste but the latency and portions aren’t worth it to me. These two “entrees” ( i use it loosely) cost me 32+!!! The only reason they can get away with this is because they have a monopoly in this area when it comes to African cuisine. I frequent northern VA and Maryland and let me tell you…. 32+ will feed 3 ppl easily at an African restaurant and during the pandemic and inflation 😂 Lol maybe portions are different eating inside 🤷🏾♀️

The wait was long because only one was cooking. I got djolloff rice and oxtail. This dish was excellent. The portion size was fair. The oxtail, rice, cabbage and plantains were awesome.everything perfectly seasoned. My daughter wanted to try this place I had never heard of it.it was a tasty experience. I can't wait to go back.the oxtails were 20$ pricey😳but totally worth it.
