If I could rate this to zero that would be accurate. The office staff are not only extremely disorganized, they do not admit to their mistakes, they are all completely rude and unprofessional. They clearly cannot bill insurance properly, don't tell you there's any issues and do not follow up with you to keep you informed. They then berate you for not knowing and will not call back for any follow up.. The doctor himself is great but beware of the office staff as they are the worst. I would only go back if his staff changed. I doubt it because they deny accountability. Formal complains have been made with AHCA

I have struggled since childhood with debilitating allergies. After Dr. Cooke was recommended, we did an allergy test and I'm now successfully 100% off of the Claritin D that I was taking twice daily. I can sleep without feeling like someone is sitting on my chest, I feel so much better than before Dr. Cooke. His allergy shots have saved me!

Andrew has been a breath of fresh air. I have found him to be incredibly considerate and well thought out in all of his recommendations. It has been a relief finding a medical professional who provides common sense, medical expertise, and great service. I really appreciate his ability to listen to my concerns and provide me candid feedback that is directed toward MY best interest as opposed to those of an insurance provider etc. I look forward to returning and would come to him for advice on any medical issue.

Questions & Answers

I seem to have developed allergies I've never had before, Im native to Florida but of late I seem to have severe coughing fits when ever they are activated sometimes just by smell. Would this be best treated by an allergist or a pulmonologist?

Allergists are trained to handle many respiratory conditions, like asthma and the chronic cough. We also work closely with Pulmonary physicians, so if there is ever any question they are an easy step away. The nice aspect of allergy is that we focus on all things allergy. This means that we have expertise of skin allergies, sinus disease, respiratory disease and food / Gastrointestinal concerns. If you ever have questions we are more than happy to help.

Does Dr. Cooke treat patients with Hashimoto’s from an immunological point of view?

Hi sue and thanks for your question. Dr Cooke is board certified in Immunology. This primarily focuses on how functional your immune system is at fighting infections. The primary focus is looking at immune deficiencies and to a much lesser extent autoimmune diseases. In your case I suspect if there is any concern for your immune system not working well enough that would probably be the focus. However, if you are worried about other disease like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis, then a rheumatologist would be more experienced in workup. Hope this helps
