Iron skillet has the best food for all of the ones that I've been to. I'm a retired MARINE CORPS veteran who has traveled all over and I live in tennessee, but this Petro, and Iron skillet is one of the best I've ever been to. Great people who actually treat you like family. From the store to the restaurant. Ty all for showing people how real southern hospitality is all about.

This place should be what all other Petros are measured against as far as cleanliness and courtesy. Keep up with what you've doing.

My experience was one of the worst Petro experiences I’ve had. Fuel islands were decent and it was good to see the DEF pumps being installed at each island. Normally I prefer the food at the fuel island store but this time it was a hot mess. Store was dirty, storage room unkempt, food area had a lot flies. The staff was nice but I would not recommend getting food here. So we went to the Iron Skillet but that was just so bad. Food was over cooked. LOL! I’ve never had an overcooked baked potato before. The flavor of the steer burger was heavy on grilled chemical taste. Salad was fresh tho. Don’t assume you will get all items that should come with your meal. My husband had a burger/fries with no condiments. The waitstaff was very slow and not very attentive. So if you’re in a hurry or require a menu, condiments, a refresh on your beverage, or better yet your check, prepare to wait or go find someone to help. I can see some of this happening if they are super busy but half the restaurant was closed down and there were not that many tables full in the open area. Would have done better going for fast food. By far my best Iron Skillet experience has been in Sparks NV (I-80, exit 19). My best fuel island experience has been breakfast in El Paso (I-10, exit 37). Food was well prepared and more importantly not greasy. I will only park, fuel & buy snacks here in the future. Fuel discounts are good, parking area is clean and not too damaged. If you have a dog plenty of space for walks. I’m noticing that at ALL truck stops lately the cellular signal is typically 1-2 bars so if you want to stream or anything requiring a lot of data forget it. I could access Reddit, my load board and YouTube but not much else. Netflix, Amazon prime video & Hulu not so much.

Store was clean, lots of parking and amenities. Stand for friendly and the showers are clean. Can’t complain
