Hi Christopher, as of now April 2021 , you will need US original birth certificate and valid state ID for sailing on a closed loop cruise , in the future things could change so I will advise to get a passport, with passport will be easier to travel and you can disembark quicker.
1. It doesn't cost the client 2. They are more aware of what is available than the average client 3. It saves the client time I'm not a travel agent but I've booked my own and used a travel agent. I try not to DIY anymore.
