I started at TOI in December 2001 in Gainesville. I worked with Dr. Mark Petty and Dr. Amanda Maxey (knees and feet). After a branch was opened in Ocala, I went to Dr. Rogers for shoulder. Then, I asked for a foot specialist in Ocala and was referred to Dr. McFadden. That was the worst experience of my life. He removed one pin from my left big toe and had a very tight ACE bandage on my foot and ankle for 10 days. I called to ask if I could remove it and was told "no". After 10 days I was told I had a tourniquet on my foot. That was in 2019 and my ankle is still red. Meanwhile, Dr. Rogers has been treating my hips with shots. Dr.Petty told me that at my age I could live with this problem. I CAN live with it as long as I have pain relieving shots. I would recommend TOI to anyone with joint problems.

He has done a knee replacement and last Friday a rotator cuff repair. Best ortho ever been to.
