Construction all around the station very confusing

Not a fan. The parking is ridiculous at this station (and the lack of free parking spots greatly demonstrates what Mineola prioritizes). Needs better accommodations while the station is under construction.

Too many kids running and screaming trying to get footage of trains. One fat kid with glasses threw a piece of concrete on to the tracks, and homeless man tried to break speakers in the glass overpass that connects to the parking garage. Other than that, not a bad train station.

It's. A 45 min ride usually by the. Long island rail road. Unless. It's going express it maybe shorter
You have to check if the trains to Manhattan are running on platform B this weekend(due to construction)..if everything is normal the train to the city will be running on platform A.And yes the 10:38 goes to Manhattan.You dont have to transfer in Jamaica.

You can catch any train from Mineola and get off at Jamaica station. At Jamaica you can transfer and catch a train to the Woodside Avenue stop.
