First time there gave them all of my insurance info to verify. Got a call back and I was told they were in network and all I have to pay was the specialist co-pay. I got there and I needed x Rays which is 100% understandable. They came back to me with all of this info from my insurance and told me I had to pay 65.00. I told them no that my insurance covers 100% X-Rays. I called my insurance and they confirmed I was covered and they needed to submit the claim to their vendor American Specialty Health but since they have a high rate of denial they do not bother to submit them!! So they rather charge the patient. very unprofessional from their part. Funny how they responded... I misunderstood the call and immediately made a negative comment about my insurance the same insurance company they are in network with. I wish I was able to post the recording of the call with my insurance which by the way I have the best insurance, where he was been condescending to the person on the phone because she kept telling him in many different ways they needed to submit the claim regardless of their past denials with other insurance companies. His answer was "we don't do that anymore because we need jump through hoops in order to get an approval" Patients should not be paying for the inadequate contract you have with your vendor American Specialty Health. Again I have the best insurance. I just made another appointment with a great Chiropractor in network and guess what? the x-rays are fully covered by my awesome insurance therefore the ones that need a better vendor is your practice.
