I went in with clear uti symptoms enlarged lymph nodes in my groin, blood in my urine. They said nothing was wrong. Days later I ended up in the ER shaking and in horrific pain with a kidney infection. They seems to just brush me off. It was honestly one of the worst experiences with health “care” of my life.

Very polite and respectful Very knowledgeable Saw me promptly not a long wait

Had a great experience, nurses & APRN (or Dr., not sure) were very nice and I was seen quickly. Would definitely go back if needed.

Everybody was nice but, instead of having a doctor see me.. they put me in a room with a tablet for a tele health visit. No one physically assessed me other then a flu swab. the doctor or APRN on the IPad was great but I left there with no answers and no assessment. Feeling worse today then the day I went in.

Yes we do
We provide convenient care during extended hours and offer patients the flexibility of walking in to receive care at a time that is most convenient for them. Patients also have the option to check-in online to hold a spot in the wait queue. This is not an appointment, though allows patients to “hold their spot” in line and receive a text message when it is their turn to come in and complete the check-in process in person.
We offer the Influenza (flu) vaccine, during flu season. Visit our vaccines page, for vaccination information.
Yes; at PhysicianOne Urgent Care, we provide care for patients of all ages.
At PhysicianOne Urgent Care, you will be seen by one of our experienced providers who are trained in either emergency, family, or internal medicine. That provider may be a physician, a PA, or an APRN.
Wait times vary, though the average wait time is significantly less than the average wait time at an emergency room. Patients are typically in and out in less than an hour. You can check-in online to hold your spot in line at your nearest PhysicianOne Urgent Care. When waiting at any of our centers, your wait time will factor in those ahead of you in the wait queue who may be waiting in the waiting room or at home, as well as patients currently in the exam rooms, and patients currently receiving X-ray or lab services.
We have on-site X-ray capabilities, so we’re able to diagnose fractures and then splint them during your visit. Our X-rays are read by a Board Certified Radiologist. We can also provide you with a copy of your X-rays on a CD for you to bring to your orthopedic physician for a follow-up appointment.
Generally speaking, our fees are far more affordable than a visit to the emergency room, though this depends on your co-pay and the level of care you receive during your visit.
Insurance isn’t required to visit PhysicianOne Urgent Care, and we have reasonable self-pay fees for those without insurance. In fact, you’ll find our fees are competitive with other local healthcare providers. Feel free to call us for estimated cost information. Payment is required at the time of service. Please note: PhysicianOne Urgent Care does not accept personal checks.
Yes, we accept most major insurances. Your co-pay is collected and required at the time of service. Please call your nearest PhysicianOne Urgent Care location to inquire if we accept your insurance.
Fees vary, though are significantly lower than a visit to the emergency room and generally the same or slightly higher than a visit to your primary care doctor. If you have insurance, the total charges will be determined based on your insurance provider’s policy regarding urgent care and the level of care you receive during your visit with us. If you have further questions, please contact your insurance company. For information on the estimated cost of a self-pay visit, please call your local PhysicianOne Urgent Care center. If you have a question regarding billing, please contact our billing company, at 203-885-0814.
We are proudly Affiliated with Yale New Haven Health Care System in Connecticut and New York, and with Tufts Medical Center in Massachusetts. We, also, work collaboratively with local providers, including your primary care or specialty doctor, across Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts.
Our experienced providers are trained in emergency, family, and internal medicine. In fact, you’ll find many are the same experts who have treated patients in local area hospitals.
Yes they take it and I am pretty sure there is no fee.
Yes they do, you should call your insurance to verify plan specific information like if they are in your network or what your coverage would be.
Depends on your insurance. Husky D is covered I know that.
