Came in to post a bond. The officer was very polite and professional. The lobby was clean. All went well...

The Willimantic Police are amazing people. I've personally met many officers and they are very friendly and generous. Many of them are consistently giving back to the community during their personal time (doing more than the majority of us in town). I thank all of you for defending us and putting your lives at risk daily to protect us. It's a shame that many citizens can't appreciate what you do for us and to sit back and criticize actions that needed to be taken in seconds. Additionally, to all who are calling the Willi Pd racist I would like you to take a look at who you are talking about considering that they are a mixed group of officers. Lastly, a lawless and policeless society would be equivelant to the purge, so once again I would like to say thank you for all you do especially through these tough times.

Instead of getting justice for my car being broken into and dragged across private property without a key by a professional tow truck driving company they tricked me thinking they were helping me to get me back into the police station to arrest me for a warrant from 2 years ago. This police station will not help you they will not do anything but gladly put someone in cuffs as a end result don’t matter if you’re there for help or not . But they will gladly use you And pretend to help if you have a warrant

Questions & Answers

How can the police allow a vehicle to be taken off private property without owner of the vehicles permission or owner of the properties permission... is it an apparent loop hole that if it's taken by a tow truck it's not theft???

Should credit card breach/theft under 800.00 be reported to local police? Will the suspected place of business be investigated?

Any kind of theft or breach should always be reported to your local PD. How it is handled according to the business the theft or fraud occurs from is dependent on if the Police Department has jurisdiction to handle the claim. Either way they can advise you accordingly.

Who is the sheriff of this station?
