Super cute and cozy. Rooms appointed nicely. Beds super comfy. So close to the beach! Just across the street. Rooms are clean, new fridge, great shower tub. Pet friendly. Love the check in with a code.

Great location, clean room, and liked being able to park in front of the room. Would suggest grab bars in the bathroom and a wider doorway to the bathroom for a wheelchair. The pool was also nice.

The management (Beth) here is appalling. Upon checking in, we discovered that the wifi did not work in our room. Rather than moving us to another room (and yes, they had an open room), the manager (Beth) told us that she would grant us a courtesy refund. After driving 11 hours from Vermont to Nags Hags and to be be forced to find another hotel is not a reasonable level of hospitality and not courteous in the least. Follow up note - If a business advertises that it offers a critical service (wifi in this case) and that particular service is not availed, a full refund isn't much of a courtesy: it is the bare minimum. The below response from the owner is not so much an "explanation" than a denial that Beth failed to do anything whatsoever to remedy the situation. Pathetic!

The room was Great. No gas no hoses for Grills. At 1030 last night awakened by a maintenance man banging on window to fix AC. Loud music coming from one of the rooms. We've been coming to the tar Heel motel twice a year for the past 6 years. This was an unusual stay.
