My son and I have been going here for the past few years. I just walked in today she says we're only taking cash. All of a sudden you can only take cash. I don't recommend this place and I will never come here again

This establishment is unprofessional and selects which customers they will take despite having an online and in-person check in system that clearly reflects the order of customers who check in for services. This was the first time that my daughter and I patronized this salon. I check in online. When I arrived, it showed that we were first in the queue. There is a large monitor that shows the order of the customers who check in and who is present in the salon. There was another customer who was second in the queue. I was checked in by one hairdresser who took my personal information since we were new to the salon. She already had a customer in her chair. The other hairdresser, Niki, finished with her customer and greeted me and another male customer. I presumed that my daughter was next since we were the first name on the list, but Niki advised that they would be with us shortly and took the male customer who was second in the queue. We waited patiently for Niki to finish his services and then she called my daughter for her haircut. When I checked out, I asked Niki to clarify the numbering system used for checking in customers since this was my first time in the salon. She casually glossed over the fact that customers are seen in numerical order until I pointed out the fact that we were first in the queue, but she had taken another customer before us. Niki replied with a lame excuse about a prior customer being mad at her so she had to take the other guy before us. Perhaps, if Niki utilized the online system as it was clearly intended, then she wouldn't have customers mad at her about picking-and-choosing who she wants to see and when.

Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
