Lovely facility and great selection of books. I come here a few times a week to work on my school work. Honestly this will probably be the last time. The woman at the help desk has had at least 5 long winded conversations about nonsense in the hour I have been here. JFC aren't libraries supposed to be quiet places???

Hello.... I was disappointed...with my meeting with the Children's librarian...yesterday afternoon.....l wanted to read a storybook...l had written...which had a great reception recently at the West Haven...library and was told to submit a proposal...and maybe there was a possibility...?? In the future.. I left feeling rathered discouraged...

Milford Public a library is a fantastic community resource for information and entertainment.

I donated books to the library last week.
Good Morning: Unfortunately we are not accepting any donations at this time.
Hi There: We have Milford News going back to 1931 on microfilm but it's sporadic not a continuous run (1931, 1933, 1935). We also have The Naugatuck Valley Sentinel for the years 1877, 1879, 1881, 1888. Be well!
Probably due to the holiday weekend
Sure, computers that have Office and internet access are available for public use, as well as copiers and a scanner. Call ahead to reserve a time. Patrons DO NOT need to be Milford residents to use most of our services. We will provide a guest pass to logon. Note that we do not have a public FAX machine or notary service however.
Yes. All patrons must be out of the building at closing time, the doors have always been locked at 10 minutes before closing to give the patrons already inside the building time to finish their transactions.
Hello: If you borrowed items from us you can drop them off at any other library in Connecticut, and they will return them. Just give them some extra travel time to get back home.
Yes, the Milford Public Library does take donations of books. Juat make sure that they are not ripped or dirty.
The library does not have a public fax. We suggest using the UPS store on Cherry St.
Currently we have Federal 1040 forms and booklets. We are out of Connecticut booklets/forms. Most forms can be printed from either the IRS's website or from CT DRS.
Look it up on their website on the catolog.
