This is the best Indian food in Portland. The butter chicken is phenomenal and the service is wonderful. They have a great lunch buffet and the dinner food is amazing! I can’t say enough great things about this place.

This is, bar none, the best Indian cuisine I have ever had. The Tika masala, curry, Naan, and even the cheese ball in honey syrup was phenomenal. If you're considering coming here let me be the one to say, just do it! You won't regret it!

Went to have week day lunch buffet. They have enough dishes to choose but only chicken for meat on week days. Goat and lamb only weekend. All dishes were tasty. Service was good and restaurant was clean.

I literally cannot say enough good things about Taj. Not only is the staff so friendly when we go and pick up our food, but the food itself is some of the best in Maine. I dream of the chili paneer–you absolutely must get it the next time you order from Taj.
