The New Haven Green is beautiful with a rich and long history. I live about 5 blocks away and love going to the yearly Arts & Ideas festival they have on the green in addition to the yearly Christmas tree lighting ceremony. I will say the green can also be a semi-dangerous area as well (to be expected in a downtown city) but the two sides of the green that serve as bus stations/stops can be a "hot-spot". But when there's planned events there it is very safe as the NHPD are always present.

Good place to go with family awesome bands during summer they need to advertise it better but besides that there's hardly anywhere to get some thing to eat in the morning it's always clean

How to go to City Hall to pay taxes they seem to have cleaned the green up a little bit there wasn't as much noise and confusion and craziness going on it was kind of serene people just enjoying the green hanging out relaxing

Yes there is Wifi downtown New Haven, they say its free, but I use my Hot Spot

It's unfortunate that some fuel mess it up for everybody else I wish you the best and remain hopeful
They took all the benches out because all the homeless people were sleeping on them and all the people were using drugs and over dosing so they took them out idk if they are putting them back ..
