This is a little gem of a store. I love visiting and shopping here when I go to NYC. Kashi is such a sweet man and his prices are very affordable. They carry a decent selection of fabrics for such a small store too. Visit Kashi the next time you’re in the area and tell him I sent you. Thank me later

Absolutely wonderful experience. My daughter wanted fabric to make a dress (just starting out) so I took her here based on the reviews. My goodness, there are a lot of fabrics! But better yet is Kashi, who not only immediately guided us to the wall of $4 fabrics (which are gorgeous) but also, gave my daughter pointers about which fabrics would be easier to use as well as provided cheerful encouragement for her to sew and design. Such an amazing experience all around and my daughter couldn't stop talking about how much she loved it there. Thank you!!

There aren't enough stars for this shop! Plan to spend some time here, as fabric is literally packed to the ceiling. Prices are great, customer service is phenomenal. Will be my first stop next time I am in NYC.

What a find! This closet-sized store is packed to the ceiling with incredible textiles sourced from all over the world. This is an incredible resource for sewers of all levels, beginners especially b/c the low BTY pricing makes it easy to buy extra yardage of great quality fabrics as a "safety measure" for cutting mistakes. The organization of the fabric is a little kooky (as in, there does not seem to be any) but the owner knows every single bolt so tell him what you're looking for and he will produce it like magic!
