Meadow Park Church - Bethel Campus

My husband and I pulled into this church's parking lot to review a menu of a restaurant We were going to attend. A man in a orange vehicle greeted us with very harsh words telling us to move on. (because there was a daycare there) I'm not sure why that mattered but we stayed and finished reviewing the menu then went on about our day as he sat and watched us leave. I hate to say that it was mostly likely because we are African American. There wasn't any signage saying this was a private lot so we didn't see an issue. We were not close to the church nor the daycare. To think....this should be a church where all are welcomed. Sad

I used to attend in the 90s but my family moved away. Just visited since moving back and it’s really sad to see how far this church has declined into the megachurch / mall church world. The pastor and people seemed nice but it all felt like a stage show. While I’m looking for community, I don’t think I can look past the changes.
