I brought to Ken a 3-legged table that had been in our family since the early 60's. I wanted it to be pretty again but did not want it completely refinished. Pretty it was! I'm very happy. This is the second family piece I've taken to Ken. He does wonderful work.

I recently found out I was pregnant and shortly after lost my best friend, my grandma. Ever since I can remember she’s promised me the high chair I used as a baby - which was an antique then and even more of an antique now. For 25 years it sat in her living room with a baby doll in it just waiting for me to take it. It was wobbly and definitely not fit to hold an actual baby anymore. I brought it to Ken and asked him if it was possible to make it sturdy enough for a baby. Not only did he say it was possible but he showed me that it turned into what we thought was a chair with the pull of a secret lever. I couldn’t help but get emotional wondering if my Nana even knew it did that. He had it for a little over a week and when I came back it was as good as new. Not only was it shined up and stable but he added time appropriate hardware where it was missing, stained a small bead that had been added sometime in its life to match the original and ADDED WHEELS. Apparently it turns into a house stroller of some sort and all these years never had wheels. HE HAND MADE THE WHEELS YOU GUYS. This high chair is as good as the day it was made. I will never bring furniture anywhere but Kens from now on. Thank you Ken for keeping this is my family for a lifetime to come.
