I had my grandmother 90th birthday cake from Modern Pastry. I had 3 cakes, different flavors and they were amazing. Carla and Lisa outdid themselves with the decoration on the cakes. All the guests commented on their beauty. I will forever get my cakes from Modern Pastry for any occasion. Loved my encounter from start to finish.

They often make cakes to cuatom order. If you call ahead a day or two they will include specialized writing and I'm pretty sure they could do a cactus

This is in Hartford I don't think they have a shop in Waterbury. Just Google Modern Pastry in Hartford and call and ask them.
They do have a variety of desserts that you can purchase by the slice or pound. you would have to call and find out if they have that particular cake by the slice.
Yes they do baby shower cakes. Or what ever cakes you need. Modern just made a baby shower cake for us last month.
I don't know but there very nice people maybe if you call and ask them they can tell you if there is a brother shop near you hope this helps
