If you really love your pet find another vet.

Since we have moved to RI at the end of last year we have spent far more time at the vet than I would like to admit - for multiple dogs for multiple issues ranging from skin issues and ear infections to torn ligaments and mast cell tumors. A routine check up would be enjoyable at this point! I cannot thank Dr. Chyten and his staff enough. They have been nothing but absolutely FABULOUS! They are kind, efficient, knowledgeable, have great follow-up, and have really worked with us. Although not skilled in veterinary medicine, I do have a medical background and know my dogs very well. When my dog Bernard first injured his right leg i knew almost immediately he had torn his CCL (mainly because he had just recovered from surgery on the other leg and it looked identical) and as I was calling around to try to find any vet that would be willing to “try” an X-ray without sedation. For this particular injury I knew that would be sufficient and I also knew Bernard would cooperate as he had had about 4-5 unsedated knee x-rays without issue in CO. We tried other vets first and not only was I unhappy with the other practices and their policies, I was really displeased that they were not willing to listen to me and even attempt to try (I called a lot). I found Dr. Chyten, and although he could not promise me a successful x-ray without sedation, he was willing to at least give it a try first. He was able to get a fine x-ray. And from this point we haven’t looked back. We are very happy patients!

I am very happy with Greenwich Bay Animal Hospital. Very knowledgeable staff and compassionate treatment options were presented. Over the years they have treated my dogs and cats and helped to provide them long and healthy lives.

I recently moved overseas and needed to go through the tedious process of completing the USDA paperwork for my elderly dog. I am originally from RI but living in the south. I planned on visiting family prior to the move which complicated the process due to timelines and not able to use the current vet. The staff here were wonderful and were the only vet in the state willing to work with me and get this paperwork submitted. I couldn't be more grateful for their efforts and quick responses. Bill was the absolute best. Thank you again. We have arrived and settled overseas with no issues on the timeless of paperwork or details within.

I don't work for the pet spa
It IS a little pricey, but for us, well worth it. We board our dachshund there as needed and they are loving and caring. They take excellent care if him.
