When you arrive at the 7th floor the staff that is at the desk is very rude. She is dark with long hair, she speaks spanish. The security is rude as well. I came here to escort my daughter for an interview and she was being rude about it. I was asked to go outside. I saw another young lady go in for an interview and the security was judging her outfit. The young lady told her that she knew that she wasn’t dress appropriately but that she needs the job. Very unprofessional of them to judge, you don’t know peoples situation.

Workforce 1 has Individual Training Grants available for CDL licenses in 5 classes however, the applicant needs to be screened by a Workforce 1 account manager for eligibility. The Fordham office is not the one to go to for this screening. The Jamaica Queens office of Workforce 1 is the industrial transportation hub of all of their offices.

Sure you can. You just have to go to the resource room on the 8th Floor and ask for permission to use the computer. You'll be asked to provide your SSN and then log you into one computer. You got to go there early though, because sometimes it is closed an hour or two after midday.
