Best place to rehab, plus fresh food. Good guidelines. Great people.

Admission is thru the ER. I wanted to walk into the bathroom with my bag to have a beer. I withdrawal terribly, and it's only alcohol that calms my panic attacks. This was before I was given any benzodiazepines. Well Security knows from the past that I drink just to stay and wait for detox. So Security interceded with 5 men, wrestled me, tackled me to the the ground. I said forget it I don't want detox I just want to leave(right then). I was grabbed and tackled to the ground by 5 security guys. My collarbone hurts, my my body hurts. I intend to sue over their aggressive towards a patient who was not being aggressive. ๐๐ฅโน๏ธ๐ข They roughed me up, tied me down and then shot me up. Typical police or security hogwash where they enjoy dominating a person and inflicting pain. I will certainly sue.

This place is a pathetic excuse for a detox, especially one as reverred as a one of the largest & best detoxes on the east coast. They do not take the time to distinguish between the addict and the human being, instead clumping us all together like substance abuse disorder is not a disease and something we all do to make our lives and those around us more miserable. I was there two nights in a row, sick and instead of treating me like I was an alcoholic in withdrawal, they treated me like a woman who was not severe enough to even be listened to, even by a โso calledโ detox specialist. I would recommend doing your research when youโre scared and find a place that will take you seriously. Itโs criminal what they do.

Yes, they do accept medicaid..they do have very good outpatient program..good luck to you๐..that's where I go to help with my demons..
It all depends on what insurance you have...
I can tell u that they do have a rehab as well as a detox.
M-F 9am - not sure
No it does not have a detox program. There are other hospitals in Brooklyn. Just Google NYC detox hospitals. Good luck! (Kings County Hosp., Brooklyn Hosp., Coney Island Hosp., Beth Israel in Manhattan, plus a whole lot more.
Yes they do
They take your phone and you have to take meds depending on ypur addiction and they very strict no female or males can talk in the hallways to each other
I wouldnโt recommend it. The only way to switch from methadone to suboxone is to be in severe withdrawals from methadone first (about three days). At my old clinic, they also took the level of your dose into account.
It depends on your insurance n how long they'll cover your stay....I believe it's a week maybe more....It's a good place to go to....Good Luck๐
Yes, I believe so...it's a great place...
You have to call Emblem Health and ask to speak with someone familiar with Psych disorders. Only certain hospitals are in their network.
