The absolute best place to stay is the Hownoquet lodge. Lucky 7 Casinos Hotel is top notch. Very clean, excellent staff, from housekeeping to receptionist to Management, they are all spot on. The friendliest place I have had the pleasure of staying. Hats off to all of you, Xaa-Wan'-k'wvt Village and Resort!

Only has water but it has a very beautiful view you are very close to the Smith River where it let's out to the ocean but it's not Breezy in this campsite also like the cheap price of $25 a night

The wifi of our cottage and that of our friends wasn't working throughout our stay. The location was amazing and was right next to the bay which made the views breathtaking.

If you go upriver off of North Bank road, Smith River is like one of the cleanest rivers in the world. Many places to swim. I like peacock bar all the way at the very end off of tan oak Dr.
Depends on what you consider safe. My daughter and I stayed there. They have a night patrol. Open field, not really any place for a person to hide for an attacking. There were may four other campers there when we were there. It's a place to crash for the night. Not really a place for the camping experience. Camp grounds were clean. Showers a d bathrooms were clean, not new. Not coin needed for showers was a plus. Night guard was helpful a d friendly. The lady at the check in desk was down to earth friendly with a grandmother touch.
