I called 2 times before attempting to drive there but no answer. It could have saved me a trip of 25 minutes each way because once I arrived I was told walk ins are only from 8-10 AM. THANKS A LOT FOR NOTHING!

I just moved to NC and was able to get an appointment for my driver's license at the Burgaw DMV today. The staff was extremely courteous, patient, and helpful; and they managed the line beautifully. They are paying close attention to COVID recommendations, so made sure people were masked and seated 6 feet apart. An employee went around asking what each person needed and got them organized with numbers quickly. Many were walk-ins, and every one of them was attended to. At 9:30 in the morning there were only a handful of people in line. Excellent location!!! VERY nice employees!!!

We had appointments for 11 and 11:15 arrived a few mins early to find the door locked and people with earlier appts waiting outside. Rude man came out to inform us that "just because we have an appt doesn't mean we will be seen at that time, it only means you may be seen sometime today" Also he added "that there are people ahead of you and the lady inside has to go to lunch soon" Unreal, the place is a joke if you have a life or a job, both of which I do. When an appointment time is worthless why are they bothering to schedule them in the first place.
