I recently had my wedding here. The venue and grounds itself are gorgeous. I cannot deny that. I dealt with Margherita to plan my dream wedding. I was assured I had nothing to worry about and the day would perfect. During the process, she seemed too caught up with their new venue “ The Barn”. I had reached out to her to meet her for things that were included such as directional cards and place cards- both times I walked in there at our scheduled meeting time, she was not there and the staff that was there, scattered around to try to help. We did our final tasting which was amazing and we chose exactly what we wanted. Fast forward to the day of the wedding. Things included as per our contract : champagne toast with strawberries hand passed for toast to all guests ( NOT done), valet parking ( NOT done- was told my guests declined it ) that was not true because I had multiple guests tell me nobody was outside and some even sat in their car waiting. They ran out of soda during cocktail hour. How does that happen?!?! Was then told their CO2 tank was empty and they had to replace it with pitchers of soda from the reception area. According to my guests they were told they ran out of syrup for the soda. The chicken entree was not what we ordered, the potato side was not what we ordered, the cake was destroyed and tilted. They had a departure station that ran out if water, the donuts were left out in the open. They were stale and unwrapped. Disgusting. Nobody signed my guest book because it was left in the main lobby. My own mother had to direct guests to the ceremony. Margherita was no where to be found beside to tell me when the designated times were being announced. For such a beautiful venue- the lack of professionalism is insulting. We paid for things that we didn’t get. To all of the brides looking at this venue, be careful. Looks are deceiving.

Who could ask for anything more. When we first visited Villa Venezia my daughter fell in love with the place and this was after we visited many other venues. Sabrina and Denise were wonderful to work with and Kayla did an excellent job executing the wedding night. The food was awesome, the rooms spotless and the landscaping out back was updated even after we booked the date over a year ago. It was simply a magical night. The staff was excellent. It was almost like you did not know they were there, but the food, drinks and service was spot on and the night flowed perfectly. The bartenders kept everyone happy. They setup the Favors, cocktail hour, main room, memorial table, signage, etc.. exactly like we wanted and then broke everything down at the end of the night and had it waiting for us the next day. Simply AMAZING !
