Went for Steve Aoki the other night. Performance was good but crowd was weak. No dancing :(…Been before for Tchami and it was way better. Crowd is too packed as usual tho.

Note: This is a review for the overall club scene in NYC. Marquee - If you purchased a ticket for an event, you should have no issues in getting in. The club itself, is rather small but consider the larger venues in NYC. Lineup that Marquee attracts can be god awful bad to be somewhat decent. Overall, NYC club scene has gone downhill. All the top artists have move outside the city to perform.Look to Brooklyn to see where the fun is at.

Staff/security inside the building is extremely rude, (not the once on the door) they want to seem like a bunch of tough guys. Bartender is a great tho

Knife party was epic. I was denied re-entry after smoking a cigarette with one more hour left. I guess because I was the only black person there and the white people was threatened by me being there. Security at the door said "it was time for me to leave" and not given a reason why. The only black person having too much fun must've been upsetting to management and all the white women. A white male bartender did give me free water. I could barely move. The dance floor in front of the dj was jammed packed. The black guy(me) was elated at the notion of finally seeing 1 of my top 5 edm dj's for the first time in my life and denied re-entry completely ruined the entire night and year. Thanks to ALL the staff at the MARQUEE for making me want to blindly walk into NY traffic to unalive myself. The bathroom on the first floor was clean and the attendant was cool. When I went to use bathroom on the 2nd floor I was only allowed less than 1 minute by the staff guarding the door and he was adamant at stating "NO #2's". That is the 2nd most ridiculous statement I heard while being there.

Yes, but it's not a true edm venue, it's not like pacha, or space , or webster hall. You will probably be the only one. Everyone their wears ties and collared shirts. But good luck and have some fun.

Yes they play hip hip music, like future or a hip hop dj like metro boomin will be spinning, just check on the website who's spinning that night. Google Marquee nyc. Bottle service depends how much you want to spend if your trying to get a $500 table it's toward the back, but if you want to be close to the dj call in to the table service peeps and they can work with you regarding location. As far as I am aware they don't do refunds. The ID scan and the ticket scan are two separate and unrelated processes at this venue so you're clear to sell.
You gotta call them cuz I popped up once and they was yelling at me saying I had to call and check 1st! Poppin up wasnt TOO bad cuz ppl were there, they were just mad and told me to call! I went around 3pm and gave me a coat(but it was the wrong one) p.s. I never got my coat but I lost mine, it wasnt in coat check so you should be ok!
