Super, super, super our 87year old Father just left last week 9/15/22 after a 63 day stay after having a a few hospital procedures and a 2 week stay at the hospital. He needed rehab. He was on the 3rd floor. Everyone was great from the nursing supervisor Maria, social Worker Teresita, nurse Jovan, nurse aid Mrs Singh, staff members Stephanie and everyone else on the 3rd floor that helped and cared for our Dad (rm 319B). PT Joe and the PT staff were great. Abe in insurance and Mendy in finance were great. Security was very good also to us when needed letting us in after hrs for 10 mins just to check in on him. Me and my brother were there every night except for 2 or 3 days overall. If you can visit everyday that’s great our Dad is not the best communicator, We advocated for him when needed, not everyone can go everyday due to work or schedule and fortunately we are local which made it easier. We got the calls if someone tested positive for covid either a staff member or patient. They also test visitors with a covid rapid test. We communicated on the phone with staff and communicated directly in person. Everyone we interacted with there were all professionals! Highly recommend no complaints here. Update 9/28/22 had a question about administering insulin called after we discharged and spoke to Nurse Behemy 3rd floor and she clarified it all what time to test, difference between fast acting and slow acting etc..Thank you

Terrific people. Very responsive to your needs/wishes. Strangely enough the telephone receiver on my phone shows a phone number for another room. One time I had to handwrite a list of doctors' appointments because they couldn't find the printed list previously turned in. Dietitian and social worker terrific people to deal with. I am amazed at how accommodating they are.

Although difficult to connect initially, once I was able to connect with the Director of social services and her staff they turned out to be wonderful! Very accessible via email which is how I prefer to do things versus telephone calls. But I did speak to the social worker Carmella on the phone on more than one occasion she was always delightful and very helpful. Overall I recommend.

Now that we are done with this place....they were terrible to my father when he was there. Do not send your loved ones here. Besides the same issues all the others here are writing (left him in bed most of the day, had to wait a long time for bed pan change, etc) the worst thing that happened was they misdiagnosed him with Covid! Moved him to the Covid floor with other Covid patients and then the next day realized the nurse read the results wrong and he DID NOT have Covid!! I was furious and this was the last straw. I moved him then to another facility where he was much better in.
