3weeks in their program to even get started looking for jobs or training They offer some ok trainings cdl, construction, culinary training I myself am in the health care field hha just finished degree in medical office training its a ok resource but 3weeks in their program for me is too long to get helped getting a job There should be some fast track services for those who know there career field and have education just go it might be useful to and for you

Yes, they have them. You just have to register to workforce 1 and come to the screening. Once your done then you have to wait about a month for the voucher. It's worth the wait cause instead of going to the company to get training and have it come out of your check until the debt is clear. The money you make once hired is in your pocket instead of the company pocket.
They don't really try to help you find a job
Registration and orientation is only Mon-Thurs @ 8:30am. They have recruitments events but times varies. You welcome to stop by and pick up a calendar

Yes you can. But before we put you with a recruiter, you will fill out our workforce 1 application and be seen by our Career Advisement Department. There they assess ur skillsets, and any barriers to employment you may have. We have resume upgrade courses and interview prep available as well. We will take care of you at the Harlem workforce. IF YOU ONLY HAVE REGULAR CLOTHES THEN DO SO. BUT THEY REALLY WANT YOU TO BE DRESS PROFESSIONALLY. Collar Shirt Pants Shoes I SUGGEST JUST THOSE IF THATS ALL YOU HAVE, SOME JOBS WONT SEE YOU IF YOUR IN REGULAR CLOTHES.
Workforce has 4 industrial and transportation centers located across all boroughs with the exception of Manhattan. If you visit their website, you can get location and visit the center to explore employment opportunities.
Yes they have culinary jobs and training. The question will they'd hire you? I had a very bad experience with Work Force. Every Job they sent me on or interview it was about deception. I never got employed with work force. Its a number game, and most of the employed staff's are there's for themselves. Wish u well and success in you're endeavor
