What a hidden gem! Found this on a Google search looking for interesting places to go. It didn’t disappoint. Beautiful house. Interesting family. The docent, Caroline, made the tour very enjoyable. We’ll be back during the holidays.

This is a wonderful building, full of period furniture and artifacts. The house was built in 1883 and added to a number of times since then. It has been expertly restored to how it appeared in about 1890 and is a city treasure. The docents are knowledgeable and personable.

The tour was too long winded. The host was nice but the standing in one room for too long...not nice. Need to shorten up the rhetoric.
