Called and made reservation still no seats when we got there. It was packed but the manager was cool and arranged the table when insisted. LOVED THE FOOD!!! OMG had food coma after. Not spicy, just perfect. Keep it up guys!!! Washroom is always my first thing to check out, can't say wasn't disappointed. Soap Dispenser didn't work. Dishes that they served in were left in the small hallway between men and women restrooms so please do something about it however that won't stop us from visiting again.

$14 for the biryani and you guys forgot to give me a boti, for a second I thought that was a boti, but you know life gives you lemons, I had my hopes high and it turned out to be a bone that looked like chicken. Ruined the biryani experience for me. Been a customer for a long time and been absolutely devouring the nehari from to time but today..you guys broke my heart.

Had to-go order of Nihari and Behari kebab, Nihari only had 2 small pieces of meat and one of them being bone and behari kebab quantity is similar to a kids meal, overrated place and charging $13 for this quantity? I dont know how are they even in business

Unprofessional, managed by untrained staff with bad customer service, who are not capable of managing buffet night. No empathy. If you would like to receive ‘good’ service here then you have to be either owner’s friend or know someone to pull a string during unmanaged Nihari Buffet night. From people cutting the Waiting lines to getting fresh naan to the Tables. It’s all just a mismanaged mess with not so polite front staff. I am all for constructive criticism with positive outcome and hoping they can read and improve and wish all the best. After waiting for 1:30 hrs and seeing few people cutting the Line because they were on Owner’s priority list. I felt very disappointed. Decided to still give it a benefit of doubt. We were seated in the corner next to the restroom. Where they keep the server cleaning cart so the door constantly kept opening to give a visual and smell of the unclean dirty bathroom alley. Got in buffet line to get the Nihari, asked server for naan and were given 3 fresh naan on table along with drinks. Went for second round and they were out of beef Nihar. After waiting for 10 mins we got the nihari only to find out that in the middle of dinner, they ran out of naan in Trays in buffet line. Upon asking if they can just send naan to the table, gentlemen rudely replied that he is ‘trying’ to manage the buffet line and naan will be refilled whenever ready. Peeking inside the kitchen door, buffet naan are kept in a cooler where they get soggy, remain warm but not crispy fresh. This is all happening while owner is enjoying fresh naan at friend’s table & given utmost customer service. If buffet is not manageable and feels like burden then I suggest stop offering it. Nothing personal, but this is not the way to business, that’s discriminating and humiliating to the customers. I like to give clear and unbiased experiences so others can voice if they have experienced similar issues with Ashar’s. Attached are pictures of their Unclean, unmanaged establishment, along with so called ‘fresh’ buffet naan & nihari.
