BEWARE OF THIS PHARMACY! After my C-section I had high blood pressure and was prescribed medication. The day I was released I went to this location to fill my prescription and they gave me the wrong medication! I took it for three days and my blood pressure shot up so high I had to go to the ER. Luckily the doctors caught the mistake and got me another prescription which I promptly filled at CVS. I had to be away from my newborn baby, formula supplement for 24 hours, and could have been seriously ill..

This USED to be our go-to pharmacy for 4 years. The past year they have gone so far downhill honestly at this point, the location needs to be shut down. My son has pneumonia. His doctor sent over 2 antibiotics for him. We arrived there to a sign on the drive thru window that they can’t give out any prescriptions, only take drop-offs due to their “system being down”. The pharmacy tech at the window told me I could go to any other Walgreens, and pick up the antibiotics from there. Wouldn’t be an issue she said. So I drove 15 mins to another Walgreens (at 1464 & Bellaire) where the extremely rude, uncaring pharmacist told me that because the other Walgreens system is down, the only way I could pick up the prescriptions from them would be to just pay cash and bill the insurance. Which is not AT ALL what the girl at the first Walgreens told me. So I left with no medicine for my very sick 4 year old. This is beyond incompetent, it’s now to the point that THIS pharmacy is putting peoples’ lives in danger. This location should be shut down ASAP. Waste of space.

Definitely dont know where you all hire some of these people... customer is nonexistent. A whole lot of workers there while no is is being helped. The young man at the register shouldn't be there no greeting didn't ask if I had a Walgreens …

Terrible service in the pharmacy! Wait time on phone its really horrible. They pick up after 15 mins then you asked your question regarding a rx being ready and the tech can’t answer the question then transfer you to a different person to tell you it won’t be ready until 3 hours later. Rx was called in at noon . Called at 3pm they told me be ready at 6pm. Because they have 100 prescriptions on the counter. Show up to pick up my rx they had 9 people working there and not including the pharmacist. Still waited in long line then. My rx wasn’t even ready. Plus I asked to speak to pharmacist. It was a new rx and was told it while be a while she is busy. That’s so crazy! For the tech to even say that to a customer especially picking up a new prescription, it is required by state board to talk you advise/ warning side effects regarding your NEW medicine
