Staff were rude, gave us a view of construction and the parking lot. There's holes in the ceiling of the place, there were black hairs all over the place, a nonstop high pitched noise came from the toilet the whole night and it was way to expensive considering we didn't even get a queen bed for our stay or even a big room, treated us like second tier guests because we used a booking site. The hotel Top Mass is a better alternative. The rooms were so hot. The bar was pretty good. But I won't be going here again. It's not accommodating at all. There was so much wrong idk where to even begin but I hope this deters you a bit. The hotel Top Mass is a better alternative

Late check ins are annoying… 4pm is very late and inconvenient for check in. Pool side rooms need ALOT of work and updating. Though my stay was off season, I can not imagine paying more than $200 a night for the quality room they have (pool side rooms at least). The front desk staff is incredibly rude (one young woman at the front desk on Thursday was rude. The lack of hospitality made it a bit uncomfortable as a guest). No hospitality whatsoever. This is not a welcoming place like it used to be. Restaurant food is bad too. Overall very unimpressive stay at PV in. Went down hill sadly.

This place is amazing. My family has been coming here for thirty years. The staff is so friendly and the food is great. The rooms are comfortable and having a pool and private beach is so nice. I definitely recommend this hotel.

AS THE NAME STATES it's the ocean view that is great. After that everything is average but still a great place. Restaurant food on ocean is great as well. Staff in restaurant were awesome during our august 2022 stay. My only problem with this place is that I just rebooked for August 2023 (11 months from now) and they take full payment on booking and no refund policy. I find that quite harsh compared to todays hospitality industry. I understand they don't like to cancel and rebook but they should only collect a deposit on booking and perhaps charge a $100-$200 cancellation fee. Without that I can only give them a 3 star. Why am I going back? It's because there is very little choices in westerly rhode island and even less if you want to be right on the beach, not across the ocean drive road. For us location was everything. It's also pricey from a canadian perspective for a dated somewhat tired Inn. But the benefits of this place makes it outstanding for us.

Hi Jimmy, We have two options, the beach in front of our hotel is our beach, however at high tide there is not much beach left so we do give passes to the beach next door called Clarks beach. Passes for this beach need to be requested at the front desk and must be returned at check out.

Memorial Day weekend is there official opening. And last year we went the week before. It SHOULD be open. Unless there working on it
Off season you should enjoy a wonderful stay if you get an ocean view room away from the restaurant/bar in the Inn. I would trust the staff to reccomend a room...they are incredibly helpful and will try to get you exactly what you want.
We had the fish and chips which was very good. There was lobster, scallops, shrimp, and fish on the menu and all were very good. There were also choices for non-fish eaters. The service was excellent and the setting beautiful. The view looked right out on the beach and ocean. I would definitely recommend this eatery to people visiting in the Westerly area.
It was when we were there in September. I don't know if that changes during the beach season.
Usually it is open during the regular season, but there are restaurants near by.
