Very nice host. Great selection of menu. We loved their everything bagel with hummus. Good coffee but could have been better. The place is expensive for the togo.

Stopped by for the açaí bowls, ordered one Hawaiian and one PNW bowl. They use fresh fruit for toppings, the açaí frozen mix is on the sweet side. I don’t think I would order the açaí again. They have a lot of different choices of coffee and smoothies which may be the better option in the future.

The name has changed to Island Grinds. The coffee is fantastic. Extensive selection of dairy alternative milk options. Shaved ice, smoothies and pasteries.

Questions & Answers

Earlier today my family ate at your establishment. While the ice cream and service were wonderful, I was a bit dismayed that you use plastic spoons. Have you considered switching to compostable or edible silverware?

Suzanne Desmond | Dec 19, 2019
Jim Osburn | Dec 20, 2019

Yes we are doing our best to phase out all single use plastic. We are limited a bit by what’s currently available on the market for our business and the demand of customers . Changing the concept we can actually drink and enjoy a large milkshake without spoons or straws is also a challenge for all. I appreciate the comments. We are doing our best to move into a much better and environmentally friendly world and continue to evolve. Aloha!

Is your decaf coffee water processed?

Troy Evans | Dec 19, 2019

Sorry for the delayed response. Yes our decaf blend is water processed. Thanks for the interest, our decaf is very popular and we get a lot of positive comments.
