Not for us unless it was just a 1 night stopover. Not for anyone that has dogs in my opinion, because of the poison ivy and the dirt roads. Constant paw cleaning and worrying about getting poison. Not for elderly folks because of multiple places to trip and turn your ankle in holes. They said they had good views, but I never saw them... just trees... lots of trees. Also there was a septic smell that was not pleasant. No cable and 30 minutes from anything. Lots of permanent residents here, but I will say things did not look junky or run down. No trash or anything laying about. Showers closed at 8pm, which was too early for us.

We stayed at Broad River for 5 months. Couldn't ask for a quieter place. Sure, it may be off the beaten path a bit but it's not far from anything you should ever need. The new managers, Rich and April, were wonderful and accommodating. They made sure the grounds were clean, safe and well cared for. They checked the campground several times a day which made you feel safe and it showed they cared about the people and the grounds. Other campers may not have liked not being allowed to treat their site like they owned it. But we appreciated Rich and April not allowing it. We would stay again in a heartbeat and know if we are ever in the area again, we will look no further than Broad River to stay!

Not sure what's happen here price has increase to way more than it's worth, new management has chased campers out. Not sure who manages this place any longer, but roads are full of potholes workers riding around on golf cart and a squeaky new SxS. Seem to be very unfriendly also. I would like to meet the new owner ???

Clean park with alot of spaces. Not very many amenities though. And like most full timer their places are trashy and wish owners would make them clean their areas up

There is kayak or canoe access about ten minutes up the road at the Alston-Palmetto trailhead. Take a left out of the campground and turn left on the first highway you intersect with, highway 213. On your left is the entrance to the trailhead.
Sad keeping tent campers out of a nice area
Rain & wind, but no problems here.
Yes. We currently have 3 showers. We are looking at expanding.
There are mail boxes
Yes we do I have coin operated laundry washers and dryer’s
It's a quiet place where everyone likes to be left alone.
They are nice people. It it is definitely quiet. There are no amenities other than full hookup. We were there for a one night stopover. Would not go back for any stay over 1 night
It's a 100 deposit on electric
We were there during the summer in a 39 ft 5th wheel and ran our a/c every day and we paid about $130 a month. At this time it should be so much cheaper. Wish i could help you out more.
$400+12 cents per amp. We're run our a/c 24/7 and the electric bill is only $103.
The rent runs 400 a month plus electric. Water and sewage is included
