Little hidden treasure that thrift shop, especially for jewelry and furniture but the SS service there is always so overcrowded with people that should be expanded 3-4 times to make it useful

Yes we always need plastic bags for the food pantry. You can collect them and drop them off any time.
I am sure they will. Definitely the stroller! Car seat likely too
Of course yes
Yes! Donations help families experiencing a financial crisis in Lexington County, SC.
Hi Jerry, yes we do. Are you in need of assistance or are looking to provide gifts?
Signed back up for what?
We sure are! Mon-Sat, 9am-2:45 pm! Thank you for thinking of us!
As long as you qualify and bring proof of address, income or an award letter from SSI and a bill for proof of residency, such as an electric bill, and your social security card, they'll want that also, and license and/ or State issued I.D. card, then you'll fill out paperwork and you can also qualify for a $70.00 thrift store card that is good for one year of the date issued, it's a process, but it helps me and my family tremendously.....
They will not help you with prescriptions at all.
Yes, if they are working. Unfortunately, we cannot take lawnmowers that don't work. Items can be dropped off M-F, 9 to 5 or Sat 10 to 5. Thanks!
You can take this complaint to Mission Lexington and call them.
I'm pretty sure that they will
Yes, if they have the funds
We were given a complete rebranding as a grant from a Marketing Firm. We are celebrating our 40 year anniversary, and with so much growth in Lexington County, we wanted to have a name that better reflects what we do. It was hard to explain what LICS stands for (the long name), and for people who are not from this area, they did not know who we were. We hope you like our new name!
Depends on which part you go to but they are great people you might have to wait a little while before getting help but its worth it god bless them
Yes. They will provide you with a receipt
No. But I would suggest getting there before they open. There is usually already people waiting. But once it gets moving, it's not long of a wait.
Unless they've changed their policy LICS normally assists only Lexington County residents but that may not hold true for food donations. I know with utility assistance and things of that nature they usually follow that policy. Hope that helps. In any event just show up because they don't typically answer the phone.
