My advice-Lexington Park office is so much better. Of course, nothing is ever easy at Social Services but, Leonardtown office will leave you frustrated and pist. JS

Rude rude rude. I called a few weeks ago and spoke to someone with actual manners and was very helpful. I call today very confused over some things regarding my case and whomever I spoke to was extremely rude and not helpful. When she told me my case was closed it was almost like she was making fun of me. When I told her the last time I called the person was able to give me a code to link my account to myDHR and she said “no you’re wrong we don’t do that”. She didn’t ask me if I had other questions she was very clearly annoyed from the very moment she answered the phone and was not going to be of any help. This was very distressing for me as I am a single mom and work full time and had to take time to call. You shouldn’t hire people who treat other people this way especially people who clearly are in need of assistance. I am so sad this is the DSS office I have to go to.
