So this is NOT the CIA HQ and never was. This is the Old Navy Observatory. It's a great place. It's got 200+ year old oak trees, a cherry tree that's one of the four original cherry trees gifted by Japan, and a bunch of GSA owned buildings. The Old CIA HQ, technically the OSS HQ during WWII, is just down the hill, closer to the Potomac and includes good ol' William "Wild Bill" Donovan's office. Despite repeated attempts to convince the hive mind at Google they added the wrong place, it's been impossible to get them to effect the change.

I've been there and I have to say that there are few places that are so poorly signposted, my kids and I had real trouble finding Death Row where my husband has been tortured for the past 3 years, but we still managed. I was able to hug him one last time before he was tasered in front of our eyes and dragged away.
