Very nice trail going south from the main entrance with great views of the river. Easy to navigate except for the last section before reaching Great Falls Park and not too crowded even on a weekend.

We came to it by chance after the great falls reserve was blocked due to a falling tree at the entrance. This is a lovely park that is five minutes drive from Great Falls, which most people who travel miss and prefer the main reserve. I highly recommend to anyone who intends to travel in gteat falls not to miss the aforementioned reserve, it is much quieter and calmer, not crowded and crowded, and the hiking routes in it are varied and beautiful.

Very nice park, hike is easy enough for kids or for a nice nature stroll by the water.

Parking is free, with additional parking at the Nature Center just further up the road if main parking is full
I'm not certain you can, but their website provides a telephone number and office hours. The link is available in the "overview" section on Google Maps.
This is a public recreational patk for hiking and watching wildlife. No lots for sale.
It closes when it gets dark, so I believe the gates are locked at 7:30pm now. Obviously, later in the year it closes earlier and in the summer it's open until 8:30pm.
No, swimming is not allowed.
Here's a link to their fishing information. https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/parks/riverbend/fishing
I don't think so. I didn't see any park there. There is some sand near by the river. My daughters 9 and 7 played there.
The smallmouth bass fishing is excellent, both north of the dam and just south of it just inside Great Falls Park. I've fished both from the shore and from a kayak. The biggest issue with fishing that area is that the river is frequently flooded.
Dogs are allowed and must be leashed.
I see people fishing there.
License, bait, fishing rod.
9-5pm Week days. Closed Tuesday and weekends noon to 5pm. Visitors Center hours.
Since the Potomac is patrolled by a multitude of lower flying helicopters (including coast guard and park police) and is also route for DCA, drone flying is restricted. It is a Fairfax county park, which has allowed drone flights at other parks. But since rules regarding drones is always changing, i recommend double checking with FAA and fairfax park authority.
My big dog loves to swim in the Potomac River from the Maryland side, North of Seneca. Are their any spots along the bank in Riverbend park trails where my dog could Wade in the River, on leash of course.
Weekdays 9 to 5, closed on Tuesdays Weekends noon to 5
No, not at Riverbend. There is a rink at Reston Town Center during the winter season, if you are interested.
