My grandmother worked here for years, but retired a few years ago and none of us had been in since. We brought her there for a mothers day breakfast and it was just as amazing as we remembered. She got to see some old faces and get a little nostalgia which is what she needed after the last couple years we’ve all had. The menu changed a little (for the better) since we had been last. They had some more “healthier” options to accommodate everyone’s food tolerances. I suggest the Putney muffin. It’s a simple, yet unique breakfast sandwich, but comes with a side of home fries. The perfect amount of food.

Classic home diner, perfect for a small VT town like Putney. Staff is always amazing, food is most days excellent. They recently changed menus, so I hope in the future I'll be able to update this post and say that they are back to the same quality they had a month ago.

No drop of a lie, this was one of THE BEST breakfast places I've ever been to (and I've been around). Great selection mixed with warming country decor to make you feel at home - this place is perfect for a fuel up before you hit the mountain or a cute date with your sweetheart. Cozy, delicious, and really appropriately priced.
