All animals well taken care of, one dog had urine on floor, they only had 4 or 5 dogs which is good, mostly hounds, cats looked comfy and clean, and kathy that met us at door was very nice and helpful

If you do by during business hours(10-3 Tues - Sat) , there is an application you can fill out. You have to be at least 18, or have a parent accompany you. Thanks!

Go to the shelter and take a look, adoptions are around $70 to $100, as far as what they have depends on what they have rescued.
At the Louisa County Animal Shelter under 18 yrs old you must be accompanied by a parent. A junior volunteer form is attached to the adult's form. We are open Mon.-Sat. 12pm to 5pm Catherine Dunston LCAS SR. SHELTER ATTENDANT Correction: Tuesday - Saturday 12pm to 5pm
The shelter does not do that, but if you call we can refer you to some places that provide reduced rates.
To surrender a pet you bring it in and complete a form. And yes they are open on Saturdays till 12pm
You need to ask the shelter not a question for "about"
Need updates on "in office" open facility hours/dates on gate and online. Multiple attempts to drop off needed food/treats/bedding for dogs and cats only to find gate locked. The Staff are hard workers, giving of their time time and compassion. We just want to assist.
