When will the jefferson county health department resume inspecting places that prepare food? Your website lists a single inspection done in april of 2017. The spirit of jefferson newspaper is indicated as another place to view inspections. Nothing there either. Meanwhile you are allowing this health risk to continue and get worse.

Yes, we can test for Hepatitis B. You'd need to make an appointment to come in for a blood draw, we send it to the state lab in Charleston and you get the results in about 2 weeks. There's a $5 fee, but that can be waived if the patient states they cannot afford it.
The County Clerk's office is responsible for birth certificates in Jefferson County. You can also get certified copies from the Office of Vital Statistics here: http://www.wvdhhr.org/bph/hsc/vital/birthcert.asp
If you need it tested for bacteria because of foster care, building permit, home loan, or refinance then the environmental side can test the water. Otherwise you need to contact a private company. Call the office if you are eligible for a test and the will take the necessary fees and schedule a water test for you.
