Course was in horrible condition from tee to green. They have really let this place and the sister course at Pleasant Valley fall into complete disarray. I have purchased the AMC membership for several years, however, I will not do so again until I hear the course conditions have improved. There are several area public courses in the same price range that are in much better condition.

I'd give the course layout itself 4 stars, but conditions were so bad I can't give this review more than 2 stars. This would be a great course if it was in even decent condition. We didn't play off a single tee boxes that wasn't dirt and weeds. Fairways were torn up - divots aside, there dirt patches, mud holes, weeds and crabgrass, and general disrepair. Greens were in tolerable condition, but we mostly appreciated the greens because of the abysmal condition of the teeboxes and fairways. This was a $35 experience. Paying $94 for this round was a bigger disappointment than either of the last two presidents.

I recently played South Riding golf course in August 2022 with few friends. It used to be one of the most consistent golf courses in the area for a long time. Not sure what is going on, but it in a horrific condition. Many of the fairways and rough areas have no grass with dirt. They need to do some major overhaul to fix the course.

Was looking forward to playing as I’ve heard nothing but good things. Extremely disappointed. Course was in horrible condition. Tee boxes nothing but dirt or weeds. Fairways very bad and more than just dried out as there were bare spots everywhere. No where near a $95 a round course.
