Cons: The registration office and yard around it looks like a hoarders mess. I wasn't sure about even camping there. In the office there are additional rules posted that is not on their list of rules that I thought was strange like no sunbathing and you are permitted to have a sermon. The first time I went to the waterfall there was a lady that reminded me of Doggett (OITNB) giving a sermon to two other people. The whole situation felt very cult like. The showers and bathrooms need a serious update. There is also an old unsightly rundown swimming pool and slide. Pros: The campground is peaceful. We camped by the creek and we could hear the water and critters as we slept. The campers seemed to be mindful of the curfew. The waterfall is beautiful and the creek above the waterfall is also a peaceful area. Its also not too far away from stores if you happen to need something.

Did not stay at campground. Just took pictures of the falls quick! Campground looks a little run down. By what others have said about campground I would give it a try. The pictures with the yellow circles were taken Sunday, April 1st, in the circles, are angels. The rest of the pictures were taken Thursday, April 4th. Very beautiful place. Would love to visit again. Wondering why angels are seen here so often. Would like to learn more of the history of this area.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. There is a very peaceful and serene feeling when walking around, especially near the falls. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and spent a lot of time talking about the history of the campground with us, which was very fun! I love learning about history from a local perspective. The cabins are very nice and affordably priced. I will definitely be renting one in the near future to unplug and get back to nature. As far as civilization goes, you're not too far away from local amenities like restaurants, bars, batting cages, lots of great attractions. The campground itself has trails and a large stocked fishing pond to relax next to.
