Literally no one here does their job. They sent my court date to an address that belonged to a complete stranger! I only found out about the court date from my ex. When I called to get information and try to get the court date rescheduled, they would not speak to me because I was unable to verify the address they had incorrectly added to my account. Then they closed my case because I did not appear for the court date I wasn't notified of and we had to start all over again. Then my ex did not bring ANY of the income documents they requested from both of us at our appointment and they just took his word for it that he wasn't earning any money, which was a lie. So they ordered the minimum amount. They never did the work to attach wages without me doing their entire job for them, getting them the name and address of his employers every time he changed jobs after months and months and years of no payments. They are supposed to use enforcement tools like license suspension and tax offset, but he is in a different state and they have done absolutely nothing to enforce or collect. When it was time for the case to be evaluated for possible modification, I was told there were no significant changes and no modifications. He is making excellent money in a supervisory position for the government, which I would say is a significant change from the $0 in earnings he falsely reported when the support was initially ordered. To top it all off its near impossible to get anyone on the phone and the call back feature does not work. So to accomplish anything, even a simple exchange of information, you have to take a day off and go in their.

Was on hold foe 2 1/2 hrs and never talked to a soul. Hit the callback option but from reading the other reviews I know I won't be receiving that either. All I wanna know is my balance. Why isn't that a option on the automated system?

You should be able to get a full history of payments and arrears if any from the child support office. Information should be provided by phone through child supports 800 number.

Doubtful. Most government agencies are closed on holidays and the day after. Sometimes the day before too.

you have to get a court order for paternity stating the father on the birth certificate is NOT the biological father, then you would need to file for child support for whomever the father is and file for them, then that court ordered document stating that the previous father is excluded from paternity and birth certificate take that paper along with you at the child support office for them to scan. they will then set up a date for the father you put down for child support to take a paternity test.. once that happens you two will then be able to sign the NEW affidavit together. ALSO make sure you take that court ordered paternity papers to vital records FIRST to take off the previous man off in order to not get any confusion with child support.
