Due to a miscommunication we ended up booking this hotel without any prior knowledge of it. Based on some of the bad reviews, we had very low expectations going in. So we were pleasantly surprised because our room was very clean and quiet! Breakfast could have been presented better but it was decent, and the staff was attentive. Right down the street from Trader Joes and other shopping, which is a big plus. The property's exterior and common areas could use attention and freshening, but at the end of the day we were looking for a clean, comfortable night's sleep after a long day of driving and that's exactly what we got!

I’ve stayed in this hotel before on a previous trip to Little Rock, which is why I chose to stay here again. Then, the service and room were both very decent. This trip was different. I reserved a King bedroom, got there and there were none available. I had to take a Queen double. Not a problem, I understand. However, I was told I’d receive a discount for the issue (again, no problem) and would receive new documentation (never did. There was a different person at the front desk each time I went.). The double room’s restroom had damaged (a hook was out the wall and causally tucked away underneath the sink). One of the beds was broken, and my key hardly worked to my room. I was locked out of my room 3 times. Finally got a working card and the third person I seen at the front desk told me that I was experiencing this because the card I had was old. The nice housekeeping lady came to refresh my towels (with her kids in tow) to which I never received fresh face towels. She said it’d be a few minutes and I’ve check out and still have not received the towels. Lucky I had one left. I post this hoping to advocate for future visits (for other guests) are of better quality.

We were charged more then expected, there wasnt a laundry bag in the room, or soap ( which we were able to get it ,just should have been there) However, the most disappointing part was the pool was listed as open.... However it was not. I can tell you though the front desk staff was incredible. It made it easier to overlook the disappointment with. A staff that incredible. Our daughter was let down when we went to the pool, and discovered it was closed, the sweet lady at the front desk told her to pick out anything she liked from the snack area and she paid for it out of her own pocket. Her compassion to my daughter was so heart warming! When we visit family, I'd go back again just for the staff .

Be careful if you have a card on file with this hotel. They will charge your card without authorization and before explaining anything. They cancelled our free stays with points we had booked and rebooked a room under our saved credit card without authorization and never explained what they did or about charging us for the room until after we had left and asked about it. Management refused to make it right or work with us on it and we ended up paying for a room that should have been paid for with our reward points. The staff at the front desk was clueless when checking us in which is where we should have known that they were messing up our reservation. We called the day before trying to speak to them about the reservation and they acted like their system was down and they weren’t able to pull it up but it’s obvious now that management just wanted to cancel our reservation and charge our card on file.
