Our trailer got a flat tire and we happened to pull into the campground. We met Sam the owner who helped us get on the road very quickly. I highly recommend this campground because of the staff.

Only reason not a 5* is pool isn't open this year. For a smaller campground they have all the basics showers, restrooms, laundry room, spacious sites and a store with bait, cigs, eggs, milk, bread, ice cream, hot dogs canned and packaged goods cleaning supplies.... Definitely stay there again

Great place for an overnight stay. Right off the interstate. Easy on and off. Great WiFi. Bathrooms have 3 stalls and 3 shower stalls. Has a laundry room and swimming pool. A store. Management is very nice. Even though you are close to highway, you really don't notice much. There is a train that runs behind (not real close)the campground. Its not bothersome. We have stayed here on two occasions. The first time was only intended to be for one night. We stayed for 3 weeks. The second time was just an overnight. Would definitely stay again. We stayed in a 36ft motorhome with tow vehicle. They can take up to 60ft. All sites are 30 AMP. Have water and sewer.

I would have given it 5 Stars if it had 50 amp also .This place was so easy to stay at.. right off Highway 81 easy in Easy Out $20 a night 30amp full hookup and quiet. Cute efficiency apartments around you, nice Neighbors.

Short drive to Chilhowie 3 or 4 mile, they have McDonalds Hardees Mexican food, 2 pizza places subway toco bell. Riverfront restraunt, papas cafe, warrior restraunt....food city deli...hmmm that might be it.
The office is open until 5. I know checkout was noon. If you arrive after 5p.m. find a spot and pay in the morning. They open at 8 or 9 a.m. last I knew it was $25/night

We camped there this past June for one night. Full hook up was twenty dollars. It is a safe place to pull off of the Interstate for a night if you are traveling through and want the convenience of water, electric, and sewer. Neighbors were very friendly.
